LL Day 1

Poppy's very first LL with Jeanne. Tried to pick an area that had boundaries at Rachel's yard like the gravel road where Janet would work her later at my house. Poppy was all over the place at first, but eventually tracked more in the 5 foot bubble.

Moved to a different area at Rachel's that gave a little more space. Poppy began to track better in the bubble.

Cool down after first LL practice.

Later in the day Janet did a practice at the gravel road by the pond. It's a new place for Poppy to see, so she was apprehensive on the first attempt.

Poppy was better on the last run.

Cool down.

  1. These two training sessions were excellent ILL. Jeanne and Janet, I taught you well as your LL mechanics were quiet, smooth and consistent. I am delighted Rachel as both your Mom and Aunt, both my well trained KMODT students to fill in the training gaps for Poppy. For Poppy's first ever Koehler training days, she did well!

Poppy reminds me so much of Latte, the feral rescue dog.from KuwaitI will find Latte's old training videos and post so you can see they move the same way and their body cast is remarkably similar. While Latte is from Kuwat and Poppy is from Afghanistan, still these two dogs may have some of the same genetic heritage. Fascinating!!

    Onward.
